We’re Hiring: Part-Time Collections Specialist (Remote – US Based)

RD5 Business Advisors is looking for a professional, results-driven Collections Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis.  In this role, you’ll work closely with one of our law firm clients to manage and recover past due accounts, ensuring healthy cash flow and client satisfaction.  This position is perfect for someone with strong accounts receivable and collections experience, particularly in legal billing or professional services, who is seeking flexible, remote work.  

 What You’ll Do

• Monitor and review aging reports to identify overdue invoices
• Communicate with clients via phone and email to follow up on payments
• Track all outreach, payment commitments, and results
• Provide regular progress updates to our team and the client
• Work collaboratively with internal billing and administrative teams

 What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in collections, AR or billing (legal billing preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented
• Capable of managing time and tasks independently in a remote environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)

  Education

• High school diploma required
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus

Compensation

• Hourly plus commission based on collections performance
